In the aftermath of the undead attacks of three capital cities, the Acolytes of the Watcher have set up a department to investigate the cause, and indeed, possible ramifications of these events...

As was already clear, these undead armies are risen minions of the Dragon being known as Cyriakos. It is strongly speculated that Cyriakos is somehow tied to the ancient race of Chal d'Ea and indeed is very likely to be the twisted version of the dragon-son of the long dead Goddess Eanna.

With very little warning, several undead legions marched into the gates of Sanguine, Flaming Skull and Ymir's Tear last week. With no evidence of purpose or plan they began to lay waste to all before them. While the initial death toll was high indeed and many lost their lives to the onslaught, the free peoples rallied and repelled the enemy in all three of the besieged capitals.

We strongly fear that these attacks are a mere foreshadowing of something greater to come. Some Mysterious Essence has begun to permeate life (and indeed un-life) throughout Agon. Should anybody find themselves in possession of Essences of such Mysterious Nature then we of the Acolytes would reward you for it!

For now, there shall be a respite, let Agon celebrate the Feast of the Dawning Frost, for surely the sun shall rise again. However, once the festivities have ended, we Acolytes shall come into the cities and reward any good citizens who hand us any Mysterious Essences they have found.
